He was born on January 27, 1961 and has his biggest break in Philippine Television when he started hosting the no. 1 rated noon time show “Wowowee”. Willie is a son of Myrna Buendia and Engineer Onorio Revillame. His mother was a 15-year-old food server while his father was an engineer when they met. They separated and Willie grew up with his mother. He was married to actress Princess Punzalan, his first wife and then to Liz Almoro his second wife, who was formerly a beauty queen.

kamikazee pr2 300x180 Rock and Roll with Kamikazee BandKamikazee is a Filipino rock band which composes of five members such as Jay Contreras (lead vocalist), Jomal Linao (guitar/back-up vocals), Led Zeppelin Tuyay (guitars), Jason “Puto” Astete (bassist), and Allan “Bords” Burdeos (drummer).

They have firstly met in college at the College of Fine Arts of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Kamikazee’s early gigs were mostly campus events in UP Diliman like the annual UP Fair. Before they were signed, they went by the name “Kamikazee Cornflakes” in 2000, which was eventually shortened to its current state as “Kamikazee” was easier to remember. Their early shows included renditions of the songs “Tsinelas”, a cover of Ariel Rivera’s “Sana Kahit Minsan”, and Britney Spears’ Lucky.

The island is approximately about 2.5 kilometers long and 1km wide covered by the insular barangay of Logon (part of the Daanbantayan municipality), with eight hamlets. It only took 45 minutes pumboat ride away from Maya. You can get to Maya easily by taking a 4-hour trip by bus or mini-van from the North Bus terminal in Cebu City. Maya is some 145 kilometers away from the city via narrow and winding road passing through scenic landscapes along the way.

swine flu Aussie dies with swine fluRecently, an Australian man with multiple ailments, such as swine flu has died on his hometown in Adelaide, Australia. Rumor has been spread that the virus was the caused of his death but authorities still can’t be sure about this.

The 26-year-old Aboriginal man could be the first one to be claimed by the virus in the Asia-Pacific. He was hospitalized with multiple serious ailments and was diagnosed with swine flu, South Australia State Health Minister John Hill said. It is not yet known what the patient died of or where he became infected, he said. Swine flu has been reported most fatal in some other countries such as Mexico and the United States when there were thousands of people have died already.
