The island can be found northwest of Cebu and Negros, northeast is Bohol and to the south, across the Bohol Sea is Mindanao.

Siquijor only takes hours away from Dumaguete when riding a boat. When you want faster and convenient travel, you can ride a fast craft (Supercat) that will take less time compare to boatride. Supercat leaves Larena to Dumaguete then Cebu at 6AM and reaches Cebu at 9:30AM. Then, leaves Cebu for Larena at 3:15PM but will pass by at Bohol and Dumaguete.

The island occupies a total less than five square kilometers and spread over more than 400,000 square kilometers of sea. The South China Sea region is the world’s second busiest international sea lane. More than half of the world’s supertanker traffic passes through the region’s waters. In addition, the South China Sea region contains oil and gas resources strategically located near large energy-consuming countries.

Panay is an island located in the Philippines particularly in the Visayas. The island is divided into four provinces namely Aklan, Antique, Capiz, and Iloilo, all in the Western Visayas Region. It is surrounded by the Sibuyan, Visayan, and Sulu seas; the Guimaras Strait to the southeast separates it from Negros. Panay is roughly triangular in shape. A rugged, almost unpopulated mountain range parallels its western coast. Between the range and a hilly eastern portion, a densely populated, intensely farmed (sugarcane, rice) plain extends for about 95 miles from the northern to the southern coasts. There is a wide lowland on the southeast is formed by the deltas of the Jalaud, Jaro, and Sibalom rivers.
