The Facts about Scarborough Shoal Controversy

The United Nation (UN) has a sledge hammer to put on their head that strikes anytime if they will not resolve it. This controversy was not an issue at all until when Asian neighboring countries like China, Taiwan, and even Vietnam are claiming the Scarborough Shoal Island’s terrestrial properties.

Based on its terrestrial jurisdiction and boundaries, the Philippines is righteous owner of the Scarborough Shoal or known as the Spratly Island. Fact is that the Treasure Island is located on the west coast part of the Philippines in most Luzon. But how come China is still desperate owning the Spratly wherein it only measures about 150 kms. distance from Philippines Islands.

As shown in the provided Google map, everyone can clearly see that this is still within the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Scarborough Shoal is considered by many as an island of paradise. In actual from water to land, you’ll surely be amazed of island’s nature gifts with its rich natural resources and minerals.

Some factual treasures found in the Scarborough Shoal are natural gases, big oil deposits, and abundance of fishes, shells, and coral reefs. The Philippine Maritime & Coast Guards protect and try to conserve these God’s nature given gifts for the people’s sake.

The outrage bullying tactics of Mainland China against to smaller countries like Philippines will not resolve the terrestrial controversy we are facing now but instead worsen the situation. Filipinos are very religious people and keep on praying that peace & love will the one prevail in everyone’s heart! We should not let our people and the Chinese people doing violent acts which could lead into such killings. God bless us all!
