But this time, the children of Democrito “Kit” Mendoza have an excellent idea in preserving and developing their father’s more than 90 hectares of lush and biodiversity-rich property turning into an exciting eco-tourism attraction plus many family-oriented activites. They called it Papa Kit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon.

Papa Kit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon has officially opened last August 2010 in Silot Bay, Liloan Cebu.

One of Kit’s sons, Michael C. Mendoza said the family always loved nature since they grew up in the area which is a nature-rich area. They invested millions of money in development of the place and have been extra careful implementing proper safety and ensuring all their amenities passed the quality standard.

Everyone can experience the fun in Papa Kit’s by not spending enough of your money. With a very affordable rate, entrance fee will only cost you @ Php 100.00 per person, which is consumable in any of the restaurants out there. Papa Kit’s is open everyday at 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Aside from the zipline, attractions and facilities includes horseback riding, fishing, bicycling and boating which said by many, these are the activities that most families would love to do for bonding.

-Entrance fee – P100.00 per person (consumable on foods & fishing)
-800 meter ZIPLINE – P200.00 per person (two-way)
-Horseback Riding – P100.00 per person (30min.)
-Glass Boat ride – P100.00 per person (min. 10pax)
a 20min. ride along Silot Bay
-BMX bicycles available for rent @ P50.00 (1hr.)
-Fishing cottages – P100.00 per hr.
fishing rods for rent @ P50.00 / bait P10.00
price per kilo (live) – Bangus P 160.00

- 2 storey BLUE-HOUSE w/ aircon – P 2,500.00 per night for 2 to 4 persons
