ABS-CBN’s Showtime Conquers Cebu
This newly variety-game show of ABS-CBN or what they called it Showtime has been very successful on its 3-day out-of-town show which started last February 1-3 in Cebu City Sports Complex. Aside from the controversy, the said program had their formal comeback Tuesday (Jan 19) on-air which was obviously happened after lifting-up the temporary restraining order issued by the Court of Appeals.
For those who are not getting an update yet in showbiz news, the controversy was first started after a former guest judge Rosanna Roces made an offensive remark which would be very unethical calling the teachers as merely “repeaters” and later on justified her statement by a shocking revelation.
This would be enough for the Movie Television Review and Classification Board to put an immediate preventive suspension without any hesitation on Showtime.
The said show replaces the “Pilipinas, Game KNB?,” which is hosted by familiar celebrities like Vhong Navarro, Kim Atienza, and Anne Curtis. The live daily show can be seen regularly on ABS-CBN Channel 2 right before the noontime show Wowowee. The hosts, staff, crew, and studio audience have always been full of energy to motivate, encourage, and enhance the talents of every Pinoy especially the youth to shine and change their lives.
Among of the few celebrities and comedians that recently added to the Showtime families are comedian-actor Andrew E., host Vice Ganda, singer-actress Ms. Sheryn Regis, and dance craze Gab Valenciano.
