Filipina Actress Wendy Valdez
Wendy Valdez is a Filipina actress and a former Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 housemate which was born on June 2, 1982 from Navotas. She is a former Binibining Pilipinas Tourism queen. She’s a 4th year Mass Communications student at Far Easter University and works as a part-time model. She is the bread winner of the family since her father left them when she was only 9 years old. Her goal is to help her family transfer from the squatter’s area to a much better home.
Wendy is an ex-domestic helper and recently serves as her family’s breadwinner. She went both times to Japan to help her family out from poverty, though, she was attacked by homesickness and depression. Still in an effort to improve her family’s life, she auditioned for Pinoy Dream Academy, but she never passed the final 38. She has already done a couple of commercials, joined the Binibining Pilipinas, and attempted to work in Japan as a Cultural Dancer.
Although 3rd placer in Pinoy Big Brother Season 2, Wendy got a big break with numerous offers and contracts, especially from ABS-CBN. She had the lead role as Margarita in Margarita, a teleserye of ABS-CBN. She was one of the original housemates to enter the Big Brother house. She did have a relationship with Bruce Quebral. Wendy was evicted on day 70 but returned to the house on Day 78. She was the most hated housemate because of her over-sensitiveness, but eventually placed 3rd amidst the protests against her by other housemates’ supporters. Her entrance to the Big 4 had spawned a number of negative feedbacks.
It’s been more than a year since controversial sexy actress Wendy Valdez won as the third big placer in Pinoy Big Brother Season 2. She is one of the luckiest among her batch as she was given her own afternoon drama show “Margarita” and played as Cesar Montano’s love interest in PALOS. Up to this day, a lot of fans are still irritated with her pressence especially in the comedy show “I Love Betty LA Fea” where she plays the role of Patricia, the pretty but stupid secretary of Armando played by John Lloyd Cruz.
