Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang Movie Review

This would probably the biggest and most thrilled Philippine horror film by Star Cinema for 2012. It is entitled Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang with main stars Erich Gonzales and Derek Ramsay both played the role as couple which awaited for a long period of time to deliver their first born child but such happiness where short-lived when the child died upon its delivery. Corazon is a must-watch movie directed by famous production designer Richard Somes and its movie premiere will be showing to all cinemas nationwide on March 14, 2012.

FYI, Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang was created and based on Filipino folklore, Aswang. The proud director Richard admitted that the concept of this movie was started and first came out on his mind during 2008 still right after he finished on his first horror full-length script, Yanggaw, a story that dwells on the aswang myths and the culture that surrounds the legend. The culture is originally based in the Japanese time rule. And for those people who still don’t know what Aswang really is; it is a mythical creature in Philippine Folklore which his/her form changes into different kinds of animals such as dog, cat, pig, bird or human hybrid of the said animals or creatures.

The movie is composed of all-star casts which include Ms. Tetchie Agbayani, Jeffrey Quizon, Mark Gil, Mon Confiado, Sunshine Dizon, Wndell Ramos, Maria Isabel Lopez, DJ Durano, Sue Prado, Dan Alvaro, Princess Punzalan and Sarlene San Pedro.
