Miss Philippines lose her dreams to grab the Miss Universe crown
Miss Philippines Pamela Bianca Manalo failed to advance for the top 15 in the 58th Miss Universe pageant that was held at the Atlantis Resort Paradise Island in the Bahamas. There were no Asian Candidates make to the top 15.
Even though Bianca didn’t get the crown, her families and fellow Filipinos are still proud of her because she showed her best and beauty in the reigning Miss Universe pageant.
The pageant was hosted by Celebrity Apprentice star Claudia Jordan and Access Hollywood co-anchor Billy Bush. It also includes performances by rapper Flo Rida, singers David Guetta and Kelly Rowland and reality star Heidi Montag.
Meanwhile, Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe 2009 that bested 83 candidates from around the world. It was also the first time in the pageant’s history that the same nation won the contest for two successive years.
Miss Dominican Republic Ada Aimee De la Cruz and Miss Kosovo Gona Dragusha were 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up, respectively. The 3rd and 4th runners-up were Miss Australia Rachael Finch and Miss Puerto Rico Mayra Matos Perez.
