Pacquiao picks Baguio as the venue for his training against Cotto
Despite of so many distractions would hamper on his training, Manny Pacquiao sees Baguio City a perfect place for him to train against very dangerous Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto. He said that Freddie Roach and the rest of the Team Pacquiao will have to fly here from the U.S. to prepare the Filipino to what the famous trainer referred to as the Pacman’s “toughest fight” to date.
Pacquiao denies the allegation for having a personal conflict between him and his chief trainer Roach. He said that there’s no rift between him and his trainer and in fact, they’d finalize the training schedule during the fight’s press tour next week.

The much-awaited fight between Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire Jr. and Rafael “El Torito” Concepcion that billed as “Pinoy Power 2” will set to clash each other on August, 15, 2009 at the New Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Japeth Aguilar is RP’s New Basketball Player Sensation
Japeth Paul C. Aguilar is a Filipino amateur basketball player which was born on January 25, 1985. He is currently playing for the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers in the division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the United States. He is the first Filipino-born basketball player ever to be recruited by a Division I program. Japeth is a son of former Philippine Basketball Association player named Peter Aguilar.
In college, before he went to the United States, he played for the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines in 2004. However, his first season stint was cut short due to appendicitis.

Roach wants a 3rd round KO win for Manny
With only less than five weeks of preparation with the most anticipated fight of the year between the current pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton, Manny is looking very sharp in his preparations leading up to the fight.
Roach, who added predicting how his prized ward’s fights would end to his resume, said Pacquiao’s May 2 (May 3 in Manila) fight against Ricky Hatton would end early when asked by reporters during “The Battle of East vs. West” promotional tour in Hollywood.
